Our Strategy
How it started …
In June 2018, Miss Kick was founded by 21-year-old Grace Vella, a former Liverpool and Manchester City player.
Growing up as a female footballer, Grace felt her opportunities were hindered because she was a girl. Whether it was funny looks, ill-fitting kit, financial burdens, or lack of playing opportunities – being a girl just seemed harder.
This inspired her to launch Miss Kick. A community and collective voice that’s growing every day!
How it’s going …
On the 24th August 2021 the Miss Kick Foundation was proud to launch our GamePlan for HER. A charity that has big ambitions, and are here to make a real difference.
